Musicbed Challenge

Reaching your full potential as a creative is no small feat. Sometimes, the spark you need to take the first step is to take on a challenge—one where you’re forced to make the most of your constraints, then to succeed in spite of them. That's precisely why the Musicbed Challenge came to be.

Musicbed challenged creatives to make a film within 30 days, then upload and submit it on the campaign microsite for a chance to win a share of $80K in cash, grants, and gear.

Songs by Musicbed artists were pre-selected for each of the five categories in the competition, with entrants required to use at least 10 seconds of the respective song in their film. Rounding out the competition was a panel of judges comprised of directors, CDs, and producers from Red Bull, Vimeo, Stink Films, and more.

To give back to the creative community, $80K in grants & gear were awarded to the winning filmmakers—with the grand prizes awarded to the judge’s picks, plus additional winners chosen by a people’s vote.
